Earlier this week, three girls from the varsity cross country program were acknowledged by the Illinois Christian Schools program for their efforts during the 2015 season.  Cecily Holliday, Andrea Zwonitzer, and Madison Franseen were all nominated to the All-Newcomer team. This team acknowledges the best new talent to Christian high school cross country teams in the state.

Madison Franseen also received to additional awards. She was named All-State First Team and Freshman of the Year as well. These are the first awards earned by this generation of cross country runners and definitely highlight the potential and talent the team was blessed with this fall.

Missing out on the racing action? Franseen, Zwonitzer, Holliday, and the rest of the girls track team resume racing action in four weeks with the start of the indoor racing season at the University of Chicago 1 meet. As always, follow us at @RCSTF or on Facebook at RC YOU KNOW!
